Founded in 2016, Casey Law Firm is dedicated to protecting consumer rights and promoting fair business practices through complex litigation. Ryan Casey has held leadership positions in numerous consumer class actions in both federal and state courts. Although based in Frisco, Colorado, the firm has developed a national practice through strategic partnerships and leadership roles in multidistrict litigation. Leyden v. J. Crew Group, LLC, No. 25-1448 (D. Or. filed Aug. 2025)
The firm serves as co-lead counsel in a putative class action on behalf of Oregon consumers who purchased products from J. Crew Factory stores advertised as discounted from a "comparable value" price. The complaint alleges that these deceptive reference pricing practices violate Oregon's Unlawful Trade Practices Act. The firm also serves as co-lead counsel in two similar actions asserting similar deceptive pricing practices: Scherer v. Tapestry, Inc. et al., No. 26-211 (D. Or. filed Jan. 30, 2026); and Curry v. Tapestry, Inc. et al., No. 26-429 (D. Or. filed Mar. 2026).

In re: Dollar General Corp. Motor Oil Marketing and Sales Practices Litigation, MDL No. 2709 (W.D. Mo. filed Dec. 2015)
The firm served on the litigation team representing a class of consumers who purchased obsolete motor oil from Dollar General stores. The case settled for $28.5 million in June 2021. The firm was also co-lead counsel in a similar case against Amalie Oil Company relating to its sale of obsolete XCEL Premium motor oil: Opalka v. Amalie AOC, Ltd., No. 18-019664-CA (Fla. 11th Cir. Ct. filed Jun. 14, 2018).

Barba et al. v. Shire U.S., Inc. et al., No. 13-21158 (S.D. Fla. filed Apr. 2013)
The Casey Law Firm was co-lead counsel for a nationwide class of indirect purchasers of Adderall XR, a popular prescription drug used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Plaintiffs alleged that the drug manufacturer illegally extended its monopoly and deprived consumers of less expensive generics. The case settled for $14.75 million and final approval was granted in November 2016.
